WHATS IN A NAME??? K & I have been working on a new sound because we love Jazz, but we also really hate Jazz!!!, so, after playing with an approach we're thinking we should call our new sound, "Nu-Free-Jazz Noise", just kinda rolls off the tongue I think. Anyway, our improvising approach combines simulations of traditional modern jazz instruments on tablets, hand-held synthesizer sounds, drum machines, FX boxes, abstract sound poetry and vocal loops. Every time we play it's guaranteed to be a new trip!!!
